Maracatu Mar Aberto is excited to announce the return of our beginner classes!
We are offering a series of seven spring classes leading up to our performance at Pedestrian Sunday in Kensington Market at the end of May.
No experience necessary, we provide all the instruments. All you bring is your curiosity and open heart!
Classes are 90 minutes long and run every Tuesday, 7pm to 8:30pm at 3300 Dundas Street West.
All beginners will be invited to stay and participate in Mar Aberto’s regular/advanced rehearsals which take place from 8:30-10pm on Tuesdays.
Classes are $25 each, or commit to the whole series for $150 (that’s one whole class free!)
